Bookkeeping
Your books kept accurate and closed daily on accrual, not monthly in arrears. Every account tied to a source document, with a reporting pack that arrives on the same day each month.
PRICED BY THE HOUR OR FLAT
$20 to $30
An hour, or a flat monthly fee once we know your transaction volume. Start with a single hour if that is what you need.

The standard of work does not change. What changes is how much of the monthly cycle we run, and how much reporting sits on top of it.

What is in, and what is not.
Included in every bookkeeping engagement
- Transaction categorisation and coding to the correct GL accounts
- Bank and credit card reconciliation, daily rather than at month end
- Full balance sheet reconciliation: loans, receivables, payables, other assets
- Invoice-to-payment and bill-to-payment matching
- Payroll journal posting, interest posting, advance settlement
- Source documents attached to the transactions they support
- Month-end close and period-end adjustments
- A monthly pack: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ageing and revenue summaries
Not included
- Filing income tax. Your practitioner does that, from books we keep ready all year
- Chasing your customers or paying your suppliers. That is the next level up
- The year-end pack. Quoted separately, because the size depends on the state of the year
- Cleaning up a backlog. Cleanup comes first and is quoted once, before we start
- Your QuickBooks or Xero seat, which you pay them directly
The same cycle every month, on the same days.
Predictability is the deliverable. The same structure, the same day, so you learn to read the pack in two minutes rather than working out where things moved.
What you have at the end.
Named artefacts, not adjectives. Everything below is something you can open, forward or hand to a third party.
WHO DOES THIS WORK
A named senior accountant
ACCA-qualified · Bookkeeping department · Reviewed by Quality Assurance
Bookkeeping runs out of a department headed by an ACCA-qualified senior accountant, with quality assurance checking every deliverable before it leaves. Three layers work each engagement, so cover holds through holidays and peak periods. You get the name of the senior accountant who owns yours on the first day.
$20 to $30 an hour, or a flat monthly fee.
Hourly is the default and you can start with a single hour. Where you would rather have a fixed budget, we quote a flat monthly fee once we know your transaction volume, and it does not move unless the scope does.

QuickBooks Online for around 70% of our clients, Xero for most of the rest. We are a Platinum QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Advisor Certified and an Odoo Partner, and we work regularly in Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Wave and Sage. Accounting fundamentals do not change between platforms, so if you are on something else we will almost certainly still work with you.
A team of around thirty accountants led by Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), working your hours. Every engagement has a senior accountant or finance lead responsible for it, supported by mid-level and junior accountants. You contract with our US company, MR-Accountants LLC.
Either. Some clients use us instead of hiring; others use us as the senior layer above a junior bookkeeper who handles day-to-day entry. We will work out the right shape on the call.
Bank, credit card and every balance sheet account: loans, receivables, payables and other assets and liabilities. Each item ties back to a source document before we close the period. Unmatched items go on a query file that we work through with you rather than force-fitting them.
Cancel any month, no penalty. If you leave, you get a clean QuickBooks or Xero file and we brief whoever takes over. Your books belong to you.
Yes, where it improves accuracy or removes repetitive work: AI-assisted categorisation and reconciliation, bank rules configured inside the accounting system, and automation of recurring tasks. It reduces cost and turnaround. It does not replace review; everything still passes four levels before it reaches you.
