Books and project profitability for a heavily physical operation..
Native Construction
Native Construction runs a heavily on-site, physically-managed operation — the kind of business where expense control breaks down fastest. For two years we ran the full finance stack: bookkeeping, business expense tracking, and project-by-project profitability analysis, restoring proper finance control.
Construction is one of the hardest industries to keep clean books in. The work happens on site, expenses get tracked on paper or in someone's head, materials move between projects, and by month-end nothing reconciles. Native Construction was in that state when we came in.
We took on the full finance function: bookkeeping, business expense tracking with proper attribution to projects, and project-by-project profitability analysis. Every project ended up with its own P&L view — what came in, what went out, what was actually profitable.
Within the engagement, the books reached a state management could trust again. Project profitability stopped being a guess and started being a number. Decisions about which jobs to take, which sites were bleeding cash, which work to repeat — all got grounded in real data.
The outcome the team values most: finance control got restored. In a heavily physical operation, that is not a small thing.
