Trainee Accountant

A two-year training programme on live client books, supervised by senior accountants. You learn by doing the work, not by watching it.

What this is, and what it is not

This is a hands-on training programme that builds your foundation in real accounting. You work on live client books from early on, guided by people who have done it for years.

To be clear about the rest: it is a preparation and development programme. It is not a job-placement service, and it is not a guarantee of certification. We train capable people and we convert the strong performers into permanent members of the team. We put real time and mentorship in, and we ask for genuine commitment and ownership back.

What you will do

Keep financial records accurate and organised across the accounts you are given.

Support accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and reconciliations.

Work alongside senior accountants on real client tasks, not practice files.

Use accounting software properly for entry, processing and analysis.

Help prepare and review financial statements, and learn what a clean set looks like.

Who should apply

ACCA part-qualified with at least F3 passed, or a degree in Accounting, Finance or AIS. Final-year students and fresh graduates are welcome.

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Good with Excel, and careful with detail.

Proactive, quick to learn, and willing to own what you are given.

Sound judgment with confidential financial information.

QuickBooks or Xero familiarity is a plus, not a requirement.

Your own laptop. Desktops are not suitable for this role.

The commitment, and where it leads

We ask for a genuine two-year commitment, because of the training and supervision we put in before you are producing work at full standard.

A monthly training allowanceReviewed every six months, and it moves with your progress rather than with time served.

Live client work from early onSupervised, reviewed, and on books that a real business depends on.

Practical experience, signed off hereWe are an ACCA Approved Employer at Gold level, so your development is supervised in-house.

A route to permanentStrong performers move onto the permanent team. It is earned on performance, and we will not pretend it is automatic.
